AP Specialist

Job Description Job Description A growing healthcare organization in Palm Springs is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join its accounting team. This role will be responsible for high-volume invoice processing, vendor management, payment processing, and ensuring the timely and accurate completion of accounts payable functions. Responsibilities: Process and code a high volume of vendor invoices accurately and efficiently Review invoices for proper approvals and supporting documentation Prepare and process weekly check runs, ACH payments, and wire transfers Reconcile vendor statements and resolve invoice discrepancies Maintain vendor records and assist with new vendor setup Respond to vendor inquiries and provide excellent customer service Assist with month-end close activities, including AP reconciliations Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures Support special projects and other accounting duties as assigned Qualifications: 2+ years of accounts payable experience, preferably within healthcare, medical, or related industries Strong understanding of AP processes and accounting principles Experience processing high-volume invoices Proficiency with ERP/accounting software and Microsoft Excel Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred Beacon Hill is an equal opportunity employer and individuals with disabilities and/or protected veterans are encouraged to apply.
