Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Holds (or is eligible for) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Licensed (or eligible) as a Speech Language Pathologist in California
- Background in school settings preferred; experience with IEPs is a plus
- Skilled in working with AAC devices
- Open to SLP-Clinical Fellows (CFY) and licensed SLPA applicants
- Familiarity with pediatric caseloads, school-aged children, and teletherapy platforms appreciated
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of communication and swallowing disorders
- Create personalized treatment plans reflecting each student’s unique needs and academic goals
- Deliver evidence-based interventions to improve speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing abilities
- Routinely track progress and adjust therapy strategies for optimal impact
- Work closely with teachers, healthcare professionals, and families to support holistic student growth
