Job Description
Join Our Team as a Registered Nurse in Intermediate Intensive Care!

Job Description:


- Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)
- Specialty: Registered Nurse / IMC / IICU (Intermediate Intensive Care)

Key Qualifications:


- Minimum of 1 completed travel assignment and 2 years of RN experience required
- Previous IICU/ICU experience with an acuity of at least 1:3
- Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
- Must have critical care experience
- Active SC or multistate license (pending licenses not accepted)

Patient Population & Unit Details:


- Care for adult patients including trauma, medical, surgical, and neurology cases
- Regular monitoring or interventions every 1-2 hours
- Unit receives direct admissions, ICU transfers, and escalations from Rapid Response Teams
- Special equipment: Hercules patient re-positioners, ceiling lifts, Airtaps

Core Skills:


- Proficient in cardiac monitoring and emergency response
- Experience in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
- Essential medication management skills including titration of cardiac and vasoactive drips
- Ventilator experience required
- Floating to other units or campuses may be required

Charting & documentation:


- 1 year of EPIC experience required

Staffing & Scheduling:


- 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule
- Self-scheduling with patient ratios: 1:3
