Outside Services Attendant

Overview The Outside Services Attendant provides customer service to members and guests while supporting golf operations through bag handling, cart preparation, range operations, and maintaining clean and organized work areas. The role ensures golf carts are staged, stored, clean, functional, and ready for use, while delivering golf-related services that create a seamless and enjoyable golfer experience. Experience Required Preferred high school diploma, GED, or equivalent. Prior experience in a similar role or strong knowledge of golf. Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with members, guests, and staff. Strong knowledge of golf etiquette, rules, and best practices. Positive attitude and commitment to providing outstanding service. High attention to detail and reliability. Ability to work primarily outdoors with frequent exposure to extreme hot or cold temperatures and humidity. Ability to sit, stand, walk, climb ladders, squat, kneel, reach, grasp, push, pull, twist, bend, and lift/carry up to 100 lbs. Adherence to attendance requirements and flexibility to work additional hours, weekends, and holidays as required. Essential Responsibilities Assist golfers by loading and unloading bags, preparing them for play, answering questions, offering golf course etiquette suggestions, and providing post-round support including cleaning clubs and delivering them to cars as needed. Promote club events, course conditions, and relevant information to enhance the member and guest experience. Marshal carts in the staging area, assign them to players, track usage, clean and inspect carts, and report damage or issues to the Golf Shop. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cart barn, storage areas, practice facilities, parking lot, and pro shop entrance. Set up and manage practice areas, ensuring they are stocked and prepared for daily use. Collaborate with golf operations staff such as range attendants, marshals, and starters to provide seamless service. Complete daily assignments to club standards and help keep the Golf Shop organized and stocked. Assist others as needed and complete additional tasks assigned by management. Follow company, club, and department policies, procedures, and safety practices. Maintain professionalism, pursue personal and professional growth, and attend daily briefings.
