Schedule: Day Shift | 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Shift Structure: 4 x 9-Hour Shifts (Monday-Friday with one weekday off)

Start Date: ASAP / Quick Start Available

Position Overview

Sidney Health Center is seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist with OB training for a 13-week contract assignment in Eastern Montana. This full-time role is ideal for a compassionate and skilled imaging professional who is confident working independently while delivering exceptional patient care.

The Ultrasound Technologist will perform a variety of diagnostic ultrasound procedures utilizing independent judgment, technical expertise, and attention to detail in a collaborative healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

Perform high-quality ultrasound examinations including:
- General abdominal imaging
- OB/GYN studies
- Small parts imaging
Ensure accurate patient identification and review physician orders prior to procedures
Operate ultrasound equipment safely and efficiently
Evaluate images for diagnostic quality and completeness
Maintain accurate patient documentation within the EMR system
Communicate effectively with physicians and healthcare staff regarding patient care and imaging results
Provide compassionate patient care while maintaining safety and comfort standards
Participate in rotating call coverage schedules, including:
- Approximately one weekday call rotation per week
- One weekend call rotation per month
- Holiday call coverage, including the Fourth of July

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of Ultrasound experience preferred
ARDMS (AB) certification required
ARDMS (OB) certification required
Current BLS Certification required
OB training and experience required
Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently
Experience with EPIC EMR preferred
