PRIOR AUTHORIZATION SPECIALIST

Overview Large Cardiology Practice located in Kew Gardens, Queens, is seeking a Prior Authorization Specialist that meets the following requirements: Benefits Competitive salary Health insurance Opportunity for advancement Paid time off Profit sharing Health benefits and above market rates are offered for the right candidate(s). Qualifications Proven experience with insurance verification of commercial and HMO plans and ability to demonstrate understanding of technical medical terminology (e.g. copayment, deductible, coinsurance, primary/ secondary payor, referral). Proven experience with obtaining prior authorizations for various exams through Evicore, AIM, Healthcare Partners websites, as well as directly from insurance companies via phone.
