Events Intern

Sallee Productions is an experiential events production and design agency based in New York. We work across the US and Canada. We produce brand activations, product launches, press previews and private events for clients ranging from global retailers to premium hospitality brands. We handle every stage, from the first moodboard to the last case loaded out of the venue. The Role We're looking for an intern who is self-motivated, hardworking, resourceful and energetic, and who wants to learn how a live event gets built. You'll work with our producers and designers on real client projects from week one. That could mean tracking down a vendor who can deliver 200 custom florals by Thursday, or putting together the run-of-show binder the night before an event. This role is for someone who sees a problem and starts on it before anyone asks. What You'll Do Support producers with vendor research, sourcing and getting quotes for rentals, fabrication, florals, catering and AV Build and update production documents: budgets, timelines, run-of-shows, contact sheets and inventory lists Help put together client decks, moodboards and presentation materials Track and organize inventory, samples and shipments for upcoming activations Work on-site at events: setup, guest flow, vendor check-ins and load-out Take notes on internal and client calls and follow up on action items Research trends, venues and new experiential ideas to inspire upcoming pitches Who You Are Self-starting: you don't wait to be told what's next, and you ask good questions when you're stuck Resourceful: if the first three vendors say no, you find a fourth Hardworking and dependable: when you say you'll do something, you do it High energy and positive, including at 7am load-ins and 11pm strikes Organized and detail-oriented. You notice when a name is misspelled on a place card. A clear, professional communicator over email and in person Comfortable with Google Suite and/or Microsoft 365; Canva, Adobe Creative Suite or Keynote is a plus Currently studying, or recently graduated in, event management, hospitality, marketing, communications, design or a related field (preferred, not required) Able to work some evenings and weekends around event dates, and able to lift and carry event materials Details Duration: December 22 2026 - possibility to extend Schedule: Minimum 3 days in office, preferred 5 Paid #J-18808-Ljbffr
