Rapport We are hiring for a Hospitality & Event Planning Intern! Timing: SUMMER 2027 - May 2027 - August 2027 Location: 200 West Street, New York, NY 10282 Schedule: Full-time / to be discussed further upon interview. Requirement: Must be currently enrolled in a college/university and pursuing a Hospitality Management and/or Event Management degree. Pay Rate: $27.00 per hour. FLIK Hospitality & Events Internship The FLIK Hospitality & Events Internship Program is a paid program that gives hospitality students the opportunity to work in a dynamic and inspirational hospitality culture. Working closely with hospitality mentors, FLIK interns have an inside look at what goes on behind the scenes at a leading food service & hospitality organization. The FLIK service culture has our team members at its heart; we are in the business of creating emotion for our teams and guests alike. The Summer Intern is responsible for supporting the conference and reception services team with all meetings and events taking place in the centers and lobbies. This person will partake in establishing a warm, welcoming, and professional atmosphere for all clients, executives, and staff members at all times. The Intern will assist with ad-hoc projects between Conference Services and Reception Services. Hospitality Internship candidates must meet the criteria below to be eligible for the FLIK Hospitality Internship Experience Program Applicants must be currently enrolled in a college or professional hospitality program and/or have 1 year of industry experience Meet university’s GPA requirement for Internship Successful completion of relevant Intro to Hospitality coursework Must be available to work 20 - 40 hours a week based on business needs & internship requirements College credit is not required, but we will provide appropriate documentation if necessary. HOSPITALITY INTERNSHIP PROGRAM PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITIES In addition to getting daily hands‑on experience, Interns have the opportunity to participate in a variety of value-added program events via LMS/WebEx/Zoom/Teams during the internship experience which include: Meetings with FLIK leadership/a mentor Connection to subject matter experts including the diversity & inclusion, HR, marketing, safety & sanitation, wellness & sustainability and finance teams via Office Hours.
