Position Overview
An adult household in Beacon Hill is seeking a meticulous, proactive Housekeeper to manage the day-to-day care of a multi-level residence of approximately 5,000 square feet. This is a cleaning-first role for a candidate who takes genuine pride in a spotless, well-ordered home and who anticipates needs without being asked. The ideal candidate is detail-driven, discreet, and comfortable working independently with minimal direction. Light cooking ability is a strong plus but secondary to housekeeping.

Responsibilities
- Deep and daily cleaning of a multi-level residence as the primary focus of the role
- Maintaining a high standard of organization throughout the home, including detailed closet management and uniform garment presentation
- Full laundry care, including sorting by fabric and care requirements
- Managing dry cleaning drop-off and pick-up
- Maintaining grocery inventory and completing regular grocery shopping
- Light meal preparation as needed, including salads and healthy meals prepared to recipe
- Proactively identifying and addressing household needs without prompting
Requirements
- Prior professional housekeeping experience in a private residence
- Meticulous attention to detail and a high standard of cleanliness
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to maintain systems independently
- Clear communication skills in English
- Excellent discretion, professionalism, and understanding of appropriate boundaries in a private home
- Comfortable working autonomously with minimal supervision
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check
- Must be able to provide 3–5 professional references
