Service Clerk - 305 San Dimas Location: 1005 W. Arrow Highway, San Dimas, California 91773, United States Starting Rate: $18.50 per hour Join our Smart & Final store operations team as a Service Clerk at 305 San Dimas. Responsibilities Provide excellent customer service. Maintain carts and assist customers with purchases and loading their vehicles. Check retail prices on shelves for checkout personnel. Pull merchandise from the checkout stand and return it to the proper shelf. Walk aisles and return misplaced items to their proper location; face merchandise as needed. Monitor cleanliness of the store entrance: sweep front area inside and outside, pick up and empty trash, mop walkways, and clean entrance/exit doors daily. Maintain cleanliness of the store throughout the day: sweep, mop, clean, and restock restrooms as needed. Qualifications Read and write English; interact with the general public and co‑workers. Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos. Write simple correspondence. Effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations to customers, clients, and employees. Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds; frequently lift and/or move up to 45 pounds; occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds. Desired Additional Skills Basic PC/Outlook skills.
