Our Pizzaiolos are not just pizza makers as we make a Napoletano Pizza, that is a true work of art, and no two pizzas will be the same. We are looking for pizzaiolos that are passionate about food and take pride in their work, that is what the Art of Pizza is all about!

Responsibilities and Duties

The main functions include, but are not limited to the following:

· Assembling pizzas (and other menu items such as wings, salads, sandwiches, etc.) on a line according to recipe

· Prepping foods and sauces necessary for a successful shift

· Stocking pizza line and other applicable stations

· Collaborating and communicating with staff and management throughout entire shift

· Checking the quality of food before serving to guests

· Ensure kitchen is clean, sanitized, and equipped with the proper tools

· Setting up and breaking down pizza line and other kitchen equipment

· Notifying a manager anytime kitchen equipment is malfunctioned or product falls below health safety standards

Qualifications and Skills

· While pizza experience is not required, kitchen experience is; if you have a passion for food and love pizza, we’ll teach you!

· Experience / efficiency with wood fired ovens is a huge plus!

· You must be a team player and work well with others, especially in high-stress situations

Since opening in 2014, that dream has come to life at 13 locations across the country and counting.
Everything we do at V Pizza is unapologetically authentic. From our ingredients to our kitchens, to our business practices and to our community. In the beginning, we wondered if customers would like Italian food so different from what they’re used to in America. Would they enjoy real bufala mozzarella or burn marks on our crust? But we believed in the taste that Italians perfected for hundreds of years. We figured they might just be on to something. When we set out to choose the first V Pizza location in San Marco, Jacksonville, we knew we needed a space as original as our food. We didn’t want a property that was part of a strip mall or a newer space made to “look old.” That’s why we built the original V Pizza in an old paint store. Our primary goal was to focus on the ovens, ingredients, people, and nothing else.
The Palm Valley location was the first we built ourselves from the ground up. No matter where our next locations take us, the V Pizza story continues to grow. We look forward to the year ahead, which brings a total of 13 stores, including the new Durbin location, and more to come in the next 6-12 months!
