Role Description The Accounting Clerk is a full‑time, on‑site role based in either Tucker, GA or Cartersville, GA. This role is responsible for performing daily accounting tasks such as processing accounts payable and accounts receivable, posting journal entries, providing backup support for payroll, supporting collections, and maintaining accurate financial records. The Accounting Clerk will assist with reconciling bank and credit card statements, preparing invoices, recording customer payments, and following up on outstanding balances. The role includes supporting month‑end and year‑end close activities, organizing and filing financial documentation, and helping prepare basic financial reports for management. The Accounting Clerk will collaborate closely with the accounting and operations teams to ensure timely, accurate data entry and adherence to company policies and procedures. Qualifications Proficiency with accounting software and related digital tools to enter, track, and report financial data accurately. Strong bookkeeping and accounting skills to manage day‑to‑day transactions, reconciliations, and general ledger entries. Experience processing multi‑state payroll. Basic understanding of finance principles and financial statements to support reporting and analysis. High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams. High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s degree or coursework in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred. Prior experience in an accounting or administrative role, ideally in a dealership, equipment, or similar business environment, is a plus.
