Human Resources ManagerThe City of Sierra Madre is seeking an experienced and strategic human resources professional to serve as its next Human Resources Manager. This position provides leadership and oversight for the City's comprehensive human resources programs, including recruitment and selection, employee and labor relations, benefits administration, classification and compensation, regulatory compliance, performance management, and organizational development. The Human Resources Manager leads and supports HR staff, ensures the consistent and effective administration of personnel policies and programs, and serves as a trusted advisor to executive leadership and department management. This position plays a critical role in aligning workforce initiatives with the City's operational priorities, promoting a positive and accountable workplace culture, and maintaining the integrity, efficiency, and legal compliance of the City's human resources functions.The recruitment will remain open until the position is filled. Candidates typically have five or more years of progressively responsible human resources experience, including supervisory or managerial roles. Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.Licenses; Certificates; Special Requirements: Professional certifications such as Professional in Human Resources (PHR), Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), or Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) are highly desirable.
