IT Help Desk Technician (MSP)

Work Model: Hybrid, 4 days onsite and 1 day remote after 90 day ramp up period Salary: $45,000 to $55,000 YOUR NEXT STEP TOWARD LEVEL 2 We are a fast-growing Managed Services Provider hiring an IT Help Desk Technician to support users across multiple small and mid-sized business environments. This role is ideal for someone with a strong IT foundation who wants to sharpen their troubleshooting skills, work with modern Microsoft technologies, and move toward a Level 2 engineering path. You will receive structured onboarding, mentorship from experienced engineers, and hands‑on exposure to Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Entra ID, Intune, networking, RMM tools, and client infrastructure. The environment is fast paced, collaborative, and built for someone with previous MSP experience who can learn quickly and take on more technical responsibility over time. WHAT YOU WILL DO Serve as the first point of contact for support requests by phone and email Troubleshoot Windows devices, login issues, passwords, MFA, Microsoft 365, Office, Adobe, printers, and common business applications Add, modify, and disable users in Active Directory and Entra ID Support Microsoft 365 licensing, permissions, distribution lists, and user administration Troubleshoot Wi‑Fi, DNS, DHCP, SMB, connectivity, and other basic network issues Configure printers, scan to email, and scan to folder Use PSA, RMM, and Intune tools to monitor alerts, run scripts, review devices, and track ticket activity Maintain accurate ticket notes, documentation, and knowledge base records Escalate complex networking, security, server, and infrastructure issues with clear technical context WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR 1 to 2+ years of IT support experience Strong troubleshooting instincts and the ability to work through issues logically Foundational knowledge of DNS, DHCP, SMB, Wi‑Fi, and basic networking Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Entra ID, or Intune Comfortable working in a ticket‑driven, SLA‑focused environment Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills Ambitious, coachable, and motivated to grow into a Level 2 engineering role WHY THIS ROLE STANDS OUT Clear growth path toward Level 2 Structured onboarding and internal training Dental and Vision coverage 401(k) with Safe Harbor match $50 monthly phone reimbursement Exposure to Microsoft cloud, networking, security, automation, and MSP technologies Join a rapidly growing MSP with a strong track record of advancement #J-18808-Ljbffr Bowman Williams
