IT Service Desk Engineer Intern

We are seeking motivated, creative, and exceptional people to join our world‑class team. Astrolab is looking for an IT Service Desk Engineer Intern to support our day-to-day IT needs. This is a hands‑on, customer‑first role focused on keeping our team productive by resolving issues quickly and delivering great end‑user support. What you’ll do Own and manage incoming IT support tickets from start to finish Image, configure, and deploy laptops for new and existing employees Support user onboarding and offboarding (accounts, access, equipment) Track and manage IT assets (inventory, assignments, returns) Set up and support audio/video for meetings and team events Partner with the Cloud Engineering team when issues elevate or overlap Willing to jump into other areas of IT and assist where necessary Willing to learn new products and services What you’ll bring Education: Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a bachelor’s degree in information technology or related fields Experience: At least 3 months of hands‑on experience outside of the classroom, including extracurricular project teams, personal projects, or prior internship/work experience Exposure to Office 365 suite of products Exposure to Windows 11, MacOS, iOS Scripting capabilities a plus Additional Responsibilities Must be able to lift 50 lbs You must be willing to work nights and weekends if necessary Benefits and Perks Join a team of best-in-class engineers building the foundation of planetary surface exploration Equity ownership in the company Comprehensive health benefits, including medical, dental, vision, and mental health support 401(k) plan with company match Flexible PTO and parental leave Home office set up reimbursement Weekly lunch stipend, plus complimentary snacks and beverages on‑site Once a month social hour on‑site with food and drinks #J-18808-Ljbffr Astrolab
