Associate Patent Attorney

Job Overview A law firm seeks an experienced full-time Associate Patent Attorney for its electrical engineering team in Columbia, MO. Duties Engage in patent prosecution and manage a docket of cases. Adhere to USPTO rules and regulations. Manage workload with strong attention to detail. Effectively manage projects to completion. Meet tight deadlines and adhere to client budgets. Work independently and as part of a team. Requirements Minimum of 2 years of patent prosecution experience. Registered with the United States Patent & Trademark Office (USPTO). Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Strong verbal and written communication skills. Education Bachelor's Degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, or related discipline. Certifications Registered with the United States Patent & Trademark Office (USPTO). Skills Critical thinking and creative problem-solving abilities.
