Operations Manager
Martin Environmental Services
Lead daily operations for waste collection, recycling, and environmental service teams, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant service delivery across residential, commercial, and government accounts. Manage field operations, route optimization, workforce planning, and fleet coordination while maintaining high standards of customer service and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and service quality.
Lead, coach, and develop operations staff, drivers, and supervisors to achieve performance and safety goals.
Ensure compliance with DOT, OSHA, environmental, and company safety regulations.
Manage labor scheduling, route performance, fleet utilization, and operational budgets to maximize profitability.
Monitor KPIs, identify process improvements, and implement operational best practices.
Coordinate with maintenance, customer service, and leadership teams to resolve operational challenges and improve service delivery.
Conduct performance evaluations, training, and employee development while fostering a positive, accountable work culture.
Respond to customer concerns and operational issues with a focus on timely resolution and continuous improvement.
