Accounts Payable Specialist

Job Description Job Description Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Accounts Payable Specialist to assist their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting pay rate of $28.00 to $36.00 per hour.
Job Responsibilities: Process vendor invoices by entering data accurately and ensuring timely completion of payment workflows.

Maintain consistent accounts payable operations by monitoring invoice flow and resolving discrepancies.

Support expense processing activities through review and entry of employee expenses in internal systems.

Perform administrative accounting tasks including recordkeeping documentation and data tracking.

Assist with system updates and transitions while supporting improvements in accounts payable processes.

Requirements: Bring prior experience in accounts payable or a similar accounting support role.
Demonstrate strong attention to detail and ability to manage large volumes of transactions.

Work independently while organizing tasks and meeting deadlines in a fast paced environment.

Communicate clearly with internal teams and vendors regarding invoice and payment matters.

Maintain reliability consistency and accuracy in daily accounting operations.

Qualifications: Use expense management systems with familiarity in Concur considered beneficial.

Maintain organized records and support audit readiness through accurate documentation.

Adapt quickly to system changes and contribute to process improvements.

Apply strong organizational and time management skills across multiple assignments.

Demonstrate a proactive approach with the ability to prioritize work and handle tasks independently.
