Maintenance TechnicianUniversity Circle – Cleveland, OHBrighton Solutions is partnering with a busy industrial facility in the University Circle area of Cleveland to hire a Maintenance Technician who knows how to keep equipment running and production moving. This is a direct hire, full-time role with steady work, modern equipment, and a team that values skilled trades.What You'll Be DoingPerform preventative maintenance and repairs on industrial machinery, conveyors, dryers, and plant equipmentTroubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and automated production issues to reduce downtimeWork with motors, bearings, gearboxes, belts, chains, and lubrication systemsPerform basic electrical troubleshooting, including 3-phase motors and motor controlsFabricate, weld, and install parts as neededWork closely with engineering, supervisors, and production to keep operations running safelyWhat You Bring2+ years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experienceStrong mechanical skills with hands-on troubleshooting abilityExperience reading schematics and troubleshooting PLC-controlled equipment (preferred)Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of repairsSafety-first mindset and pride in quality workSkills & RequirementsHigh school diploma or GED (or equivalent experience)Ability to work in a fast-paced, production-driven environmentSolid communication skills and team attitudeWillingness to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, or holidays when neededPhysical & Work ConditionsAbility to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbsComfortable working around noise, heat/cold, heights, and confined spacesMust have own hand tools and wear steel-toe safety shoesAble to climb ladders and work throughout the plantThis position is offered with a competitive hourly pay rate and comprehensive benefits.
