Key Responsibilities\n

• Deliver individual therapy sessions to adult clients dealing with the emotional and psychological impact of workplace injuries.

• Facilitate weekly psychoeducational classes to clients, enhancing their understanding of pain management strategies and coping mechanisms.

• Conduct initial assessments to evaluate the psychological state of clients, developing individualized treatment plans tailored to their specific needs.

• Engage in ongoing case management, tracking clinical progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Practice evidence-based therapeutic techniques, incorporating Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness approaches to care.

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals within our community health clinic to integrate services and provide comprehensive patient support.

• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary population served includes adults recovering from work-related injuries who are experiencing mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and chronic pain. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• An active California LCSW license is required to practice.
