Workers Compensation Attorney

Overview A law firm seeks an experienced Workers' Compensation Attorney to join its practice in Buffalo, New York. The attorney will manage a substantial and complex caseload, contributing to the development of a statewide workers' compensation practice. Responsibilities Handle cases and hearings on a daily basis. Draft and file litigation documents, including pleadings and motions. Guide clients through the legal process. Interact with expert witnesses and draft reports. Prepare for and attend depositions, mediations, and court appearances. Qualifications Law degree from an accredited institution. Active member in good standing with the NY State Bar Association. Minimum of 3 years of workers' compensation experience. Ability to manage a high volume of cases. Excellent client service and communication skills. Self-starter with long-term career goals. Superior writing and oral advocacy skills. Education Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. Certifications Active membership with the NY State Bar Association. Skills Strong case management abilities. Effective communication and client service skills.
