The Logistics Director leads a small team to oversee and optimize the entire supply chain process, including international shipping, domestic distribution, and reverse logistics. Reporting directly to the CEO, this role involves strategic planning, performance analysis, and close coordination with customers to ensure efficient and cost-effective logistics operations. Occasional travel is required to support logistics initiatives and partnerships.
Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize supply chain operations across international and domestic logistics
- Lead and develop a small team of logistics professionals (1-10 employees)
- Develop and implement strategic plans for logistics efficiency and growth
- Analyze performance metrics to identify areas for improvement
- Coordinate with customers to meet delivery and service expectations
- Manage reverse logistics processes to improve returns and recycling
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in logistics management
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field
- Expertise in supply chain optimization and budget/cost control
- Proven leadership skills in managing small teams
- Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems and logistics technologies
