Scope of Practice

Core Areas of Treatment Diabetes & Metabolism: Managing type 1 and type 2 diabetes, severe insulin resistance, lipid disorders, and obesity. Thyroid Diseases: Treating hypothyroidism, hyperthyroidism, goiters, thyroid nodules, and thyroid cancer. Neuroendocrinology & Glandular Disorders: Diagnosing and treating pituitary tumors, adrenal gland dysfunction (like Cushing's disease or Addison's disease), and parathyroid abnormalities. Bone Health: Managing metabolic bone diseases, including severe osteoporosis and calcium metabolism disorders. Reproductive & Gender-Affirming Care: Addressing hypogonadism, polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), and Providing gender-affirming hormone therapies Required travel: Western Ventura endocrinology clinic for coverage Anticipated start date: ASAP
