Quality Engineering Manager

Leading a quality engineering organization, the contract-to-hire AI-Native Quality Engineering Manager will drive the adoption of AI-assisted testing and modern automation practices while collaborating with engineering and product teams to enhance release confidence and overall delivery outcomes remotely. Key responsibilities Lead and develop a team of Quality Engineers, Automation Engineers, and Testers with a hands-on, player-coach approach Drive the adoption of AI-assisted testing practices and establish standards for effective AI usage in quality engineering Define and track quality metrics to guide continuous improvement in automated testing frameworks and release readiness Required qualifications 7+ years of experience in QA, Quality Engineering, or Test Automation with strong hands-on automation expertise 2+ years of people leadership experience managing larger QA organizations (ideally 15+ team members) Experience with modern test strategies across API, UI, integration, and end-to-end testing Strong understanding of Agile, CI/CD, and modern software delivery practices Experience using AI tools to improve testing outcomes and ability to coach teams on effective AI usage
