IT Business Relationship Manager, Quality & R&D

Abbott seeks an IT Business Relationship Manager to serve as the primary technology partner for Quality and R&D functions in Molecular Diagnostics. The role involves translating business needs into technology solutions, coordinating cross-functional initiatives, and ensuring alignment with compliance and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Serve as primary IT partner for Quality and R&D, providing secondary support to Commercial functions
- Build relationships with business and IT stakeholders to identify goals, challenges, and technology opportunities
- Translate business requirements into solution options, technology roadmaps, and prioritization recommendations
- Coordinate project delivery including requirements definition, testing, stakeholder engagement, and adoption activities
- Support compliance activities, regulatory alignment, and continuous improvement initiatives across business domains
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Life Sciences, or equivalent experience
- 7+ years in IT, business relationship management, systems, consulting, or project delivery
- Experience defining requirements and delivering technology solutions with business stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability leading or coordinating cross-functional business and IT initiatives
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, facilitation, and problem-solving capabilities
- Understanding of application lifecycle management, cybersecurity, privacy, and regulatory compliance
Compensation: $99,300–$198,700 base
