Test Manager / Architect
Location: Pleasanton, CA (Day 1 on site, no remote at all)
Salary: $160k

Testing experience with familiarity on healthcare or lifesciences domain and computer system validation (CSV), design verification, ISO 13485, IEC 62304, QSR 820 is a must and at least they would have worked on any of Class I, II, III devices or platforms.

- 10+ years of experience on product testing, web, windows-based desktop and mobile application testing
- Expertise in defining the test environment requirements, requirements analysis, test management, test estimations and test strategy, test plan creation, test execution, defect life cycle
- ISTQB certification is preferable
- Expertise in reviewing the test cases written by testers and ensuring test case adequacy
- Familiarity with test case design techniques
- Familiarity with FMEA or software hazard analysis or product risk analysis, risk management
- Familiarity with simulators-based testing and simulator's testing
- Good exposure on requirements analyzing and management
- Expertise in various testing stages/levels/phases, testing types, testing techniques and quality work products
- Hands on experience in automation testing using multiple frameworks
- Exposure in non-functional testing
- Should have expertise in guiding the team on test process improvements and drive the teams towards project goals
- Lead or develop the creation of test strategies, plans, cases, scenarios, summary reports, and requirements traceability matrix for highly complex projects
- Expertise all stages of software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing life cycle (STLC) in waterfall, iterative and agile software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies
- Familiarity with healthcare or lifesciences domain and computer system validation (CSV), design verification, ISO 13485, IEC 62304, QSR 820
- Organize onshore and offshore testing teams for both system and integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), and end-to-end testing
- Collaborate and lead the implementation of automated regression suites and participate in automation review sessions to ensure product quality is achieved during test execution, as well as production support
- Drive the defect resolution process and represents the testing department in project meetings to present test results and risk analysis of existing defects to project teams and drive defect prevention activities
- Conducts retrospective reviews of teams' accomplished objectives and assigns follow up activities for continuous process improvement
- Familiarity with test/requirement management tools such as Jira, DOORS
- Familiarity with database concepts, usage of POSTMAN, RESTAPI tools
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills and test management experience
