What You’ll Do Patrol hotel property to ensure the safety of guests, colleagues, and assets. Respond to security incidents, medical emergencies, guest concerns, and requests for assistance in a timely and professional manner. Maintain a visible security presence throughout the property and proactively identify potential safety and security concerns. Investigate and document incidents, accidents, injuries, and security‑related activity through detailed and accurate report writing. Utilize effective de‑escalation techniques to resolve conflicts and manage challenging situations. Assist in maintaining a safe and orderly environment during conventions, special events, and periods of high occupancy. Experience in security field preferred. Ability to interact professionally and effectively with a diverse group of guests, visitors, colleagues, and vendors. Experience conducting foot patrols and maintaining a visible security presence throughout a large property. Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to assess situations, make sound decisions, and take appropriate action. Experience using de‑escalation techniques to resolve conflict and mitigate potentially disruptive situations. Comfortable providing assistance and direction to both guests and non‑guests in a courteous and service‑oriented manner.
