About the Role

The Technical Project Manager will own integrated delivery for the Cardiology Sales Operations & Reporting workstream within Boston Scientific’s Magellan SAP S/4HANA transformation program. The role connects business and technology teams to translate complex requirements into executable plans, drive timely decisions, and deliver commercial processes, data, reporting, testing, and deployment readiness against program milestones.

Working across Sales Operations, Commercial Operations, Customer-to-Cash, Finance, IT, and global program teams, this individual will lead through influence in a highly matrixed environment. Success requires disciplined project leadership, practical SAP and enterprise-systems fluency, and the ability to frame risks, tradeoffs, and recommendations for senior leaders. Areas of impact may include sales hierarchies and territories, customer and product master data, orders and returns, commercial reporting, and downstream integrations.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the integrated workstream plan, including scope, milestones, deliverables, resources, dependencies, risks, issues and critical-path activities.
• Translate business objectives and technical constraints into clear requirements, design decisions, and executable delivery plans.
• Lead requirements gathering, process mapping, fit-gap assessment, and design alignment across business and technology teams.
• Maintain governance for risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies, decisions, and change controls; escalate with clear options and recommendations.
• Drive resolution of cross-workstream dependencies involving sales structures, master data, Customer-to-Cash processes, reporting, integrations, and downstream systems.
• Own business testing governance, including strategy, schedules, test participants, scripts, data, environments, defects, exit criteria, and business sign-off.
• Define and track deployment-readiness criteria across process, data, reporting, training, communications, support, and stabilization.
• Align super users, subject-matter experts, solution architects, system integrators, PMO partners, and business leaders around priorities and delivery commitments.
• Provide concise executive updates on progress, milestone health, risks, decisions, tradeoffs, and required leadership support.
• Ensure deliverables meet enterprise standards, commercial requirements, and applicable quality and compliance expectations.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• 7+ years of experience in technical project or program management, enterprise systems implementation, or business transformation, including leadership of complex cross-functional initiatives.
• Working knowledge of SAP or comparable enterprise platforms, including business processes, data, reporting, integrations, environments, testing, and deployment readiness.
• Experience translating business and technical requirements into integrated plans, functional deliverables, decisions, and dependencies.
• Experience coordinating business and technical teams through integrations, testing, defect resolution, release activities, and business sign-off.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate technical tradeoffs and influence stakeholders in a matrixed environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA or a comparable enterprise resource planning transformation.
• Experience supporting Sales Operations, Commercial Operations, Customer-to-Cash, reporting, master data, or related processes.
• Experience with business process improvement, requirements management, testing, change readiness, and organizational transformation.
• Professional certification in project management, Agile delivery, SAP, or a related enterprise technology discipline.
• Medical device, healthcare, or other regulated-industry experience.

The anticipated compensation listed above and the value of core and optional employee benefits offered by Boston Scientific (BSC) – see will vary based on actual location of the position and other pertinent factors considered in determining actual compensation for the role. Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs. At BSC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the anticipated salary range listed above.

Compensation for non-exempt (hourly), non-sales roles may also include variable compensation from time to time (e.g., any overtime and shift differential) and annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
