Qualifications:

• Active Michigan Special Education Teaching License (verification required prior to start)
• Demonstrated classroom experience working with high school students, preferably in ASD settings
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, parents, and staff
• Ability to implement IEPs and behavior intervention plans effectively
• Flexibility and adaptability in dynamic, onsite environments

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized instruction and behavioral supports tailored to students with autism
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Collaborate closely with general and special education staff to foster inclusion and a positive learning atmosphere
• Engage with parents and guardians to promote student growth and address needs proactively
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and document interventions and outcomes in compliance with district standards
