Quick Facts: Location: Chambersburg, PA Start Date: 11/02/2026 End Date/Duration: Until 02/01/2027 (with potential for extension) Shift: Clinic days Mon-Fri, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm; Night shift 5x8-hour shifts included Hours/Week: 40 hours/week Employment Type: Full-time License/Certs: Board Certification (Double Boarded preferred), PA license preferred Experience: All experience levels considered; fellowship required Pay & Benefits: Hourly Rate: $498.86 per hour Benefits: Competitive pay packages, weekly pay schedule via direct deposit, comprehensive medical benefits (W-2), robust referral bonus program, paid sick time, licensure and travel reimbursements, and more What You’ll Do: Provide outpatient Hematology and Oncology consultations, including new patient assessments and follow-ups Support hospital inpatient and ER consultations related to Hematology & Oncology cases Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, IVIG, IV iron, and non-chemotherapy injections in the clinic Perform procedures such as port access; bone marrow biopsies and lumbar punctures are not typical Participate in tumor board meetings and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams Engage in patient education and coordinate with specialists for radiation therapy What You Need: Required: Board Certification in Hematology or Oncology (preferred double boarded) Valid PA state license or ability to license Fellowship training in Hematology/Oncology Experience with outpatient diagnosis, treatment, and infusion therapies Preferred: Experience in inpatient consults and hospital-based care Strong communication and teamwork skills About the Assignment: Join a reputable cancer institute accredited by the American College of Surgeons in Chambersburg, PA. This position involves outpatient clinic work, hospital consults, and participation in tumor boards. The clinic serves adult patients with various solid tumors and blood cancers, offering targeted therapies and infusion services. Support comes from a team including a nurse practitioner and virtual hematologist, with minimal inpatient throughput.
