The goal will be to develop high-quality software that is aligned with user needs and business goals.Essential Functions:Understand software product functional/nonfunctional requirements. Provide estimation for various unit development needed for requirements.Create high/low level design document.Develop complex features and unit test cases. Execute unit test cases and prepare release document in line with the requirements.Train and develop team members with the objective of ensuring high quality of the deliverables within the guidelines policies and norms of Cognizant.Provide strategic technical direction for product research design analysis testing process improvement and complex troubleshooting for critical and large projects.Provide technical expertise to resolve challenging programming and design problems.Participate in architecture / code reviews and eliminate implementation problems early in development cycle.Identify ways to improve or reduce the defects. Support the clients in user acceptance testing if required.Provide inputs on the status of the module development to the development lead.Review Test Cases / Test Plan; Conduct Integration testing and resolve defects/bugs during QA Testing Alpha Release Beta Release Post Release patches.Qualifications:Education: BS in Computer Science or related major, Masters preferredRequired Experience:8+ years of experience in Software Design and development4+ years of experience in Agile/Scrum methedologiesPossess strong ability to tackle complex problemsTeam player and works well in large group environmentsHighly driven and motivated with a high level of initiativeDesired Experience:Prior experience as Full stack developerBehavioral Competencies:Understand and empathize with othersCoach people through powerful questions rather than use of authorityExpert technical skillsQuick critical thinking skills to analyze a situation and organize and guide teams to solve problemsAlways learning and sharing with teams and team membersTechnical Competencies:Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, Rest, MavenAngular, Angular JS, JavaScript, HTML5Mongo/Cosmos DB or any other no SQL DatabaseCI / CD pipeline, DevopsIAM related skills such oauth, openid connect is a plusYears of Experience: 8.00 Years of Experience
