RN - PACU

PACU Registered Nurse

This is a critical role focused on maintaining the respiratory and cardiac status of patients awakening from anesthesia. The PACU Registered Nurse will continually assess patients, carry out physician orders, and ensure patient safety and comfort.

This position requires a variable day shift lasting 12 hours, with start times between 10:00 AM and 11:30 AM. On-call duty and weekend shifts are also necessary.

Minimum of 2 years of PACU experience is required. Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Current American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification. Active Michigan nursing license as verified by LARA and/or Nursys. NIHSS Certification (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) is required.
