You will be the Material Processor / Material Handler for the Machining Operations Center. Our team is responsible for ensuring seamless material flow and supporting the production floor.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Material Processor / Material Handler you will be responsible for coordinating material movement, tooling, and documentation to keep the MOC production floor running efficiently.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Investigate production delays, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Assist lower?graded Production?Control personnel with critical issues and engineering changes.
• Enter, schedule, and manage Production?Control data and issue standard tools to authorized staff.
• Perform raw?material and consumable cycle counts and coordinate timely replenishment.
• Maintain a tidy, audit?ready work floor and conduct monthly shelf?life sweeps.

Basic Qualifications

Strong computer skills (Windows application with an emphasis on Excel). Ability to lift and move manufactured assemblies parts and materials (35 lbs) to and from various locations within the manufacturing facility. Ability/willingness to operate a pallet-stacker Candidate must be a US Citizen and have the ability to obtain a Department of Defense Secret Clearance. Must have the ability to work 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift in accordance with the collective Bargaining Agreement between Lockheed?Martin and the UAW.

Inventory experience Ability to work with others in a team environment and at the same time be comfortable working alone on special tasks. Strong organizational and tracking skills. Ability to read and understand technical based bill of materials.
