Admissions Processing Specialist

The Admissions Processing Specialist will play an integral role within the administrative team at Hanover County Public Schools. The individual in this position will perform a variety of office duties and coordinate with various stakeholders to aid in the efficient flow of admissions-related activities. Key Responsibilities Coordinate with schools and families during the admissions process, providing information and answering inquiries. Process all admission applications in an efficient and accurate manner, providing timely progress updates to stakeholders. Develop, sort, and maintain the organization’s admissions databases ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with policies and regulations. Contribute to the implementation and revision of admissions procedures, in accordance with changes in regulations or school policies. Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders such as parents, applicants, and school representatives to ensure a smooth admissions process. Prepare comprehensive statistical reports related to student admissions for senior management upon request. Provide assistance in organizing school admission meetings and events, as needed. Qualifications A High School Diploma or comparable work experience is preferred. Prior experience in an administrative role or an educational institution is advantageous. Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of organization in managing multiple tasks and deadlines. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, along with the ability to work effectively within a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
