Role Description This is a contract, on-site Audiologist role based at a per diem office in Lincoln, NE. The Audiologist will perform C&P examinations for veterans, including comprehensive hearing and tinnitus evaluations aligned with VA guidelines and standardized protocols. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing medical records, conducting diagnostic audiologic testing, documenting findings in clear, detailed reports, and submitting timely, accurate exam results through designated systems. The role focuses on objective assessment rather than ongoing treatment, with a strong emphasis on thorough documentation, adherence to compliance requirements, and professional, respectful interactions with veterans. The Audiologist will collaborate with Valor Health Group and partner organizations to maintain quality standards and consistent exam experiences. Qualifications Active, unrestricted Audiologist license in the state of Nebraska (or eligibility for licensure) and Doctor of Audiology (AuD) or equivalent degree. Demonstrated proficiency in diagnostic audiology, including pure-tone audiometry, speech audiometry, tympanometry, and related assessment tools. Strong skills in clinical documentation, report writing, and objective evaluation aligned with standardized protocols. Experience working with adult populations. Excellent interpersonal communication skills and the ability to interact with diverse populations in a respectful, trauma-informed manner. Ability to follow structured guidelines, maintain compliance with regulatory and partner requirements, and manage time effectively in a scheduled exam environment. Comfort working independently on-site, with reliability in attendance and professional conduct. Basic computer literacy, including use of EMR or exam reporting platforms, and secure handling of sensitive information.
