IV Compounding Pharmacy Technician | Scottsdale, Arizona

Job Description

Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A well-established, closed-door mail order pharmacy specializing in compounded hormone replacement therapy (HRT), veterinary medications, and fertility treatments is seeking skilled Pharmacy Technicians for immediate openings. This opportunity is ideal for candidates with experience in pharmacy technician roles and non-sterile compounding who are interested in a fast-paced, specialized environment.

Location: Scottsdale, AZ
Job Type: Contract, with potential for contract-to-hire or direct hire
Schedule:

Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
Some Saturday rotations required

Available Positions:

Non-Sterile/Sterile Compounding Technician
Data Entry/Patient Support Technician
Fulfillment/Production Technician

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and compound non-sterile and sterile prescriptions following established protocols
Accurately enter patient data and process prescription orders
Manage medication fulfillment and production tasks in compliance with safety and quality standards
Collaborate with pharmacy staff to ensure timely and accurate prescription delivery
Maintain clean, organized workspaces adhering to regulatory guidelines

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Pharmacy Technician with compounding skills, especially in non-sterile preparations
Familiarity with mail order pharmacy operations preferred
Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety and confidentiality
Excellent data entry and computer skills for patient support roles
Ability to work independently and as part of a dedicated team
