What they're looking for Solid tax background in a CPA or public accounting firm, ideally 4+ years Comfortable preparing and reviewing returns, managing your own workload, and communicating confidently with clients CPA or EA is a plus but not essential Experience with CCH Axcess, Lacerte or UltraTax is useful, though the firm is open to other software backgrounds Why it's worth considering At Senior level, a move should give you something real in return.
