Contract | Nights | 4x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a high-volume post-surgical unit serving urology and GYN surgical populations
• Manage a patient assignment within a typical 1:7 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Monitor and interpret telemetry rhythms including sinus rhythms, heart blocks, lethal rhythms, atrial rhythms, junctional rhythms, and pacing
• Rotate every other weekend, float as needed, and work required holidays within the contract period
• Complete pre-start compliance modules (approximately 3 billable hours) prior to the start date

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of recent, relevant Medical Surgical / Telemetry experience
• Active Virginia or Compact RN license in hand at time of submission — no exceptions
• Proficiency in Epic EMR — no exceptions
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association
• Must pass a telemetry/EKG competency test with a score of 80% or higher (one attempt; no remediation available)
• Must successfully complete standard fit testing requirements (PAPR cannot be accommodated)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
• Strong telemetry interpretation skills including interval measurements, complex rhythm identification, and lethal rhythm recognition
