2 years of outpatient clinic experience Medical Assistant Diploma from a

DAPIP-accredited program Current

BLS Certification Minimum

1 year of recent Epic experience Experience managing

6 8 provider pools Appointment scheduling and patient registration experience Typing speed of

40 45 WPM Job Responsibilities Manage multiple provider pools and Epic inboxes for assigned providers. Process patient messages, refill requests, referrals, and provider communications. Schedule appointments and coordinate patient registration activities. Verify insurance coverage and assist with authorization processing. Prepare patient charts and maintain accurate Epic documentation. Coordinate pharmacy refill requests and provider follow-up actions. Perform provider pool management for 6 8 providers simultaneously. Complete telephone triage, patient callbacks, and appointment communications. Order and maintain office and clinical supplies. Support General Practice and Internal Medicine providers with administrative workflow. Review patient histories, medications, and allergies prior to appointments. Assist with rooming patients and obtaining vital signs when required. Label specimens and assist with venipuncture as needed. Process urine testing and strep testing according to clinic protocols. Maintain efficient patient flow and provider scheduling support.
