Mad Science of Central Los Angeles is looking for a motivated, relationship-driven Sales / Account Manager to help grow our business. You'll develop new business, manage existing accounts, and help bring engaging science programs to more children throughout Los Angeles County/Ventura County and surrounding areas.

Mad Science brings fun, hands-on science experiences to millions of children around the world through after-school programs, camps, workshops, preschool programs, birthday parties, and special events. Our mission is to spark curiosity and inspire the next generation through science.

As our Sales / Account Manager, you'll be responsible for growing revenue by developing new customers and expanding relationships with existing accounts. You'll work with schools, school districts, community organizations, companies, and other partners, managing opportunities from prospecting and outreach through proposal, close, renewal, and account growth.

What You'll Do:

• Develop new business and identify new customer opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing accounts.
• Prospect through research, email, phone calls, networking, referrals, and other outreach.
• Manage leads and opportunities throughout the sales pipeline.
• Prepare proposals, pricing, and program recommendations.
• Identify opportunities to expand programs within existing accounts.
• Develop strategies to meet and exceed sales goals.
• Track sales activity, pipeline performance, and key metrics.
• Collaborate with our operations team to provide an outstanding customer experience.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of sales, business development, or account management experience.
• Proven ability to develop new business and manage customer relationships.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage the sales process from prospecting through close.
• Comfortable using CRM systems, spreadsheets, email, and sales tools.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant professional experience.

Experience working with schools, school districts, youth organizations, community organizations, or educational customers is a plus.

Compensation: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
