Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced  Grading Foreman to lead and actively participate in grading and earthwork operations. This position requires hands-on fieldwork while supervising crews to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to specifications.

Responsibilities:

• Perform and oversee daily grading and earthwork operations
• Operate heavy equipment such as dozers, excavators, blades, loaders, skid steers, etc.
• Read and interpret site plans, grades, and elevations
• Set grades, slopes, and drainage according to project plans
• Lead, train, and supervise crew members on site
• Ensure work is completed on schedule and meets quality standards
• Enforce jobsite safety policies and OSHA regulations
• Coordinate with project managers, superintendents, and inspectors
• Perform daily equipment and site inspections
• Maintain accurate jobsite documentation and reports

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5+ years experience in grading and earthwork
• Prior  foreman or lead experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of site work, grading, and utilities
• Ability to operate heavy equipment proficiently
• Ability to read blueprints and use grade checking tools (laser, GPS, etc.)
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Valid driver’s license; CDL a plus
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
