The ideal candidate will provide CADD production support for roadway and transit projects, working closely with engineers and designers to develop accurate, standards-compliant drawings and models.****\*\*\*\*\* OpenRoads, OpenBridge, OpenBuildings profciency is required to be considered\*\*\*\*\***\*\*\*\*\*No sponsorships are available for this position\*\*\*\*\***Position Responsibilities*** Develop, update, and maintain roadway and transportation design drawings and models using OpenRoads, OpenBuildings, MicroStation, Civil 3D, and AutoCAD.* Produce plans, profiles, cross-sections, and construction documents in accordance with project requirements and applicable standards.* Collaborate with civil engineers and BIM leads to translate engineering concepts into coordinated CAD/BIM deliverables.* Perform QA/QC checks to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with state DOT, transit agency, and federal standards.* Manage, organize, and maintain project files using ProjectWise or similar document management systems.* Support coordination across disciplines and assist with design updates throughout various project phases (concept through construction).**Required Qualifications*** Associate’s degree or technical certification in CAD, Civil Engineering Technology, or a related discipline.* 5+ years of experience supporting civil or transportation engineering projects.* Proficiency working within Bentley Open products and AutoCAD-based platforms.* Ability to collaborate effectively with engineers using CAD and BIM workflows, including Revit when required.* Experience supporting projects for MTA, Port Authority, NJ Transit, and/or NYSDOT.* Strong ability to interpret engineering plans, specifications, and design standards.**Technical Skills*** OpenRoads* OpenBuildings* OpenBridge* MicroStation* Civil 3D* AutoCAD* ProjectWise (or similar document management systems)**Nice to have skills*** Experience with multi-discipline coordination in BIM environments* Familiarity with agency-specific CAD/BIM standards and naming conventions* Experience working on large-scale transportation or transit infrastructure projects**Key Competencies*** Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy* Effective communication and teamwork skills* Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet project deadlines* Proactive approach to problem-solvingCompensation Range:$96,532.00 - $109,696.00**STV offers the following benefits** • Health insurance, including an option with a Health Savings Account • Dental insurance • Vision insurance • Flexible Spending Accounts (Healthcare, Dependent Care and Transit and Parking where applicable) • Disability insurance • Life Insurance and Accidental Death & Dismemberment • 401(k) Plan • Retirement Counseling • Employee Assistance Program • Paid Time Off (starting at 16 days) • Paid Holidays (9 days) • Back-Up Dependent Care (up to 10 days per year) • Parental Leave (up to 80 hours) • Continuing Education Program • Professional Licensure and Society MembershipsSTV is committed to paying all of its employees in a fair, equitable, and transparent manner.
