3rd Shift Maintenance Mechanic

Description Overview Maintain and troubleshoot mechanical aspects of manufacturing and packaging equipment and facilities per standard operating procedures. Complete work orders performing skilled maintenance activities. Conduct maintenance, repairs, improvements, set-ups, troubleshooting, follow-up, Root Cause Analysis, and Reliability Maintenance on packaging and compounding equipment; report to supervisor. Handle special assignments/projects as directed by Maintenance Supervisor, Master Mechanic, or Manager. Work rotational schedules as required and perform overtime when needed. Work under little to general supervision; use initiative and independent judgment. Scope of the Role Complete daily Maintenance Tracker and conduct area walk-throughs. Perform preventive maintenance for packaging, compounding, and warehouse equipment. Repair packaging and compounding equipment (MTCE). Train production personnel on proper equipment use. Set up, fine-tune, and troubleshoot equipment using Root Cause Analysis methods. Experience Required 5 years hands-on mechanical experience with packaging equipment (pharmaceutical, food, packaging, or similar manufacturing). Completed accredited certification program in mechanical engineering/design/troubleshooting, etc. OR 3 years as a Perrigo Set Up Tech plus at least 2 years completed education and active enrollment in a Mechanical/Industrial/Production/Electromechanical Engineering program (accredited).
