Financial Analyst

Main Accountabilities: Assist the project manager on all issues related to project economy. Analyze project financials and follow-up on project budget deviations. Participate in project kick-off meetings. Monitor and follow-up actual costs against budget and forecast. Ensure timely invoicing according to contract and timely payment of invoices. Perform necessary activities for month-end close, including journal entries and account reconciliations. Participate in monthly project reviews. Ad-hoc reporting. Qualifications Basic Qualifications: 5 to 8 years of experience in a professional accounting role. Bachelor degree in accounting, finance, or related field. Knowledge of US GAAP or Sox Compliance. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Good team work and communication skills. Solid analytical and problem solving skills. Ability to meet tight deadlines. SAP proficiency. Preferred Qualifications: Looking for someone who has experience in project accounting. Knowledge of project management. Flexibility and willingness to take on responsibility. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to implement change and introduce best practice initiative.
