Marketing AssistantReports To: Senior Marketing Communications ManagerDepartment: MarketingFLSA Status: Non-exempt, Full-timePOSITION PURPOSE:This position will provide support to the marketing department as well as require collaboration/interaction with other GPI departments, vendors, and franchise partners for certain projects as assigned. To request accommodation, please contact Human Resources.Manage the appearance calendar and coordination for Godfather's Pizza brand character/mascot, The Godfather.Attend and support in-store events, community appearances, promotional events, and brand activations, including evenings and weekends as needed.Capture photo and video content for social media, marketing events, and Godfather appearances.Assist with social media photoshoots, event photography, and content creation to support brand engagement and marketing campaigns.Collaborate with the communications team to develop, schedule, monitor, and support social media content and community engagement efforts.Manage and maintain Godfather's Pizza online business listings, including Google Business Profiles and related directory platforms.Support traditional and non-traditional marketing leads with project coordination, communication, and execution of franchise marketing initiatives.Submit and coordinate graphic art and marketing requests through internal project management systems to ensure deadlines are achieved.Communicate with franchise partners, vendors, and internal departments to support project completion and marketing initiatives.Maintain and update content for the franchise web portal and related communication platforms.Coordinate and support the Slice of Pie fundraising program, including scheduling, communication, and program promotion.Oversee the creation and distribution of internal company newsletters and content.Assist with department billing, print bid coordination, marketing inventory management, and related administrative support tasks.Support cross-functional marketing projects and other duties as assigned by the marketing department leadership.POSITIONS SUPERVISEDNoneTRAVEL REQUIREDLimited TravelPOSITION QUALIFICATIONSBA/BS in Marketing, Journalism, Advertising, Communications, Public Relations, English or a related field is preferredMarketing and/or production related work experience strongly preferredMust have proficiency in Microsoft Office - MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPointExperience with WordPress, Hootsuite, photography, copywriting, event management, and other content management systems a plusMust be a self-starterHigh organizational and communication skillsReliable transportationEvening and weekend availability as neededOther duties as assigned.COMPETENCIESAccountability - Take ownership of actions and results, follow through, and learn from mistakes.Collaboration - Work well with others, communicate clearly, and support team goals.Communication - Share information clearly, listen well, and adapt to the audience.Relationship Building - Build trust and strong connections to support teamwork and goals.Teamwork - Collaborate with others, support the team, and work toward shared goals.WORK ENVIRONMENTThis position may be exposed to moderate noise levels within the office.
