Assistant Director - Leadership Giving

Execute personalized and systematic cultivation leading to solicitation and closing of annual unrestricted gifts from $25,000 up to $250,000 Manage a portfolio of prospects and donors Meet annual fundraising performance metrics for dollars raised and meaningful donor contacts Document fundraising activity in the database Align restricted fundraising efforts with clinical-area colleagues and advocate for blended unrestricted and restricted asks Solicit and close new and renewed outright, planned, and asset gifts Partner with gift officers, hospital and department leadership, and faculty Advocate for and raise awareness of unrestricted giving Develop knowledge of research, clinical, teaching, and community service programs Collaborate with development directors and physicians on fundraising activities and strategies Participate in professional development and stay informed of fundraising trends and practices Contribute to a positive office environment while demonstrating integrity and professionalism Requirements Bachelor's degree required 3-5 years of fundraising or related experience Experience devising and implementing cultivation and solicitation strategies Excellent written and verbal communication skills Attention to detail Strong work ethic and strategic thinking skills Proficiency in data entry, data management and reporting Ability to motivate, engage, influence and work collaboratively with diverse internal and external audiences Entrepreneurial, conscientious and results-oriented work style Motivation to learn and flexibility in a changing environment Experience with Blackbaud CRM or Raiser's Edge, Microsoft Office Suite, and Zoom and Teams preferred Current resume and cover letter required with application Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in fundraising strategies, including cultivation and solicitation of high-value gifts, while effectively managing donor relationships and collaborating with diverse stakeholders.
