Loan Origination Associate- Loan IQ

Pay Rate: $37.00/hr W2
Location: Charlotte, NC
Work Arrangement: 100% Onsite
Duration: 3 Months Contract-to-Hire (RTH)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM
Overtime: Spotty/ad hoc OT during peak periods, including month-end and quarter-end

• Bachelor's degree with a Finance major preferred, or equivalent relevant experience
• Fresh graduates are welcome with relevant finance/accounting internship experience

Job Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Originations, Clients, Relationship Managers, Treasury, Operations, and Credit Underwriters to facilitate loan documentation and closing.
• Review and interpret legal documentation, including credit agreements, and provide operational feasibility guidance to Originations and Credit Underwriters.
• Engage with clients to gather required documentation and information for closing while managing expectations throughout the process.
• Prepare and dispatch documentation packages, ensuring compliance with credit and asset conditions.
• Provide seamless support and facilitation throughout the deal lifecycle, from mandate to close , applying critical thinking to anticipate business needs.
• Contribute to projects focused on improving processes, procedures, and operational efficiency.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities & Skills

• 2+ years of experience in loan origination or a closely related field.
• Experience managing and resolving conflicts through collaborative solutions.
• Advanced strategic planning capabilities, including effective resource allocation.
• Strong critical-thinking skills for evaluating loan transactions and supporting informed decision-making.
• Excellent time-management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
• Demonstrated leadership and execution skills to drive the end-to-end deal process , align stakeholders, maintain accountability, and deliver consistent, high-quality outcomes.

Role Overview

As a Loan Origination Associate I , you will play a critical role in the loan lifecycle by supporting smooth transaction closings and directly contributing to a positive client experience.

The role involves working closely with internal and external stakeholders to gather documentation, manage closing requirements, review legal documents, and facilitate transactions across diverse loan products. You will also contribute to process-improvement initiatives designed to optimize lending workflows, resources, and operational efficiency.
