Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift | 8-Hour Days (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM) | Monday – Friday | No Call | No Weekend Requirement

Key Responsibilities

• Serve in a triage-focused role within an outpatient oncology clinic, supporting 1–2 assigned providers
• Coordinate patient care, conduct patient education, and facilitate follow-up communications
• Triage incoming patient phone calls and communicate results to patients as directed
• Manage approximately 20 patient visits per day across assigned clinic rooms
• Float as needed to other clinics within the same floor
• Document and communicate using EPIC and SBAR methodology

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license (NC or Compact license accepted)
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience
• Outpatient Oncology experience required
• Proficiency in EPIC electronic health records required
• Current BLS certification
• Must provide own stethoscope

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) certification
• Experience with chemotherapy administration and IV placement
• Background in Medical Oncology and/or Non-Malignant Hematology patient populations
