Come be a part of our mission!We are looking for you to join our team as a Staff Electrical Engineer, Power Supply Design based out of Woodland Hills, CA.What You'll Get to Do:Responsible for detailed design of Analog circuits and sub-systems, including analog power supply designDesign tasks include system level requirements analysis, sub-system level requirements development, conceptual design, preliminary design, and detailed design through design verification and transition to production.Analysis tasks include detailed circuit modeling, simulation and analysis, signal integrity analysis, electrical stress analysis, and worst-case circuit analysis.Basic Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering with 12 years of relevant experience; or a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering with 10 years of relevant experience, or a PhD in Electrical Engineering with 8 years of relevant experience5+ years of design/analysis/test experience in electrical engineering specializing in power electronics, switch-mode topologies, magnetic design, and feedback controlsProven capability to design, build, and test power electronics designsElectrical circuit design experienceExperience with discrete component power supply designCircuit modeling and simulation experienceSchematic capture experienceCircuit and sub-system test and troubleshooting experienceUS CitizenshipActive US Government Secret Security ClearanceAbility to work onsite in Woodland Hills, CA as required by this positionPreferred Qualifications:10+ years of design/analysis/test experience in electrical engineering specializing in power electronics, switch-mode topologies, magnetic design, and feedback controlsRadiation hardening of electronic designsDesign/test for EMI compatibilityCadence CAECircuit board designSignal integrity analysisWorst case circuit analysisElectrical stress analysisDesign verification and testAbility to lead and drive troubleshooting to closure, including providing technical solutions to programsCollaboration skills across disciplines, including systems engineering, mechanical engineering, thermal/structural analysis, reliability, manufacturing/test, program managementPrimary Level Salary Range: $177,000.00 - $265,600.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
