Job Title

Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry Float Pool

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Rotating Day/Night Shifts | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 13–20 Week Assignments Available

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within a Medical Surgical / Telemetry float pool environment, floating across designated units as operationally required
• Monitor and interpret ECG cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to telemetry findings
• Administer medications safely and accurately in accordance with facility protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to support patient outcomes across assigned units
• Complete required orientation assessments including ECG rhythm recognition and medication safety evaluations
• Participate in holiday rotation coverage as required by facility scheduling needs

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license – permanent Ohio license or valid Compact state license required and must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 18 months of combined permanent experience in Medical Surgical / Telemetry specialty
• Minimum of 18 months of recent Medical Surgical / Telemetry experience (travel experience accepted)
• Active AHA or American Red Cross BLS certification required
• Active ACLS certification required
• Active NIHSS certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience gained within a single facility setting for the required specialty experience
• Prior float pool or multi-unit nursing experience in a large acute care hospital environment
• Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation in a high-acuity setting
